Meet the Team

Not all pet sitters are created equal, nor are they all professional.  In hiring a pet sitter, it is important to make sure you have chosen the right person to care for your beloved animal.

A professional pet sitter does more than feed your pet.  A professional pet sitter will be sure your pet gets exercise, attention, and love on a daily basis.  A professional pet sitter is also skilled in your pet’s health and can provide medical attention if necessary.

A professional pet sitter will collect your mail, change the lights, and make the place look lived in. A professional pet sitter will water your plants and put out the garbage can and make sure your home is the same when you return from vacation as when you left.

A professional pet sitter will do more than keep your pet and home safe, it will give you peace of mind so you can enjoy your time away.  A professional pet sitter ensures you return home to a healthy and happy pet.

Our team provides quality service based on behavior, fitness, nutrition, and healthcare.  We have the proven skills and dedication to keep your pet healthy and safe at home.

All of our Animal Care Specialists pass an Acutraq background check and are fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.

Susan Foerster, Owner

While working at a veterinary hospital in Brevard County, Susan  saw a strong need for professional pet sitters among the clinic clients.  After researching the appropriate liability insurance and professional  memberships, G&S Pet Services was formed in 2001.

Thanks to references from clients and local veterinarians, G&S Pet Services has built a reputation as a group of professional and caring pet sitters, with many pet owners booking six to eight months in advance.  We have an excellent staff and are proud of the much needed services we provide.

Sean Guertin, Manager

Sean grew up in Florida and has been around animals his entire life.  He is the proud daddy to a 110lb Doberman named Semper.  He has worked at veterinary clinics and animal hospitals since leaving the Marine Corps in 2012.  Sean has a “whispery” way with animals that amazes his friends and family.  He believes we don’t choose our pets, they choose us.

Jackie Drago-Bernert, Manager

Jackie was born on Long Island, NY. She is a true animal lover in every sense of the word. When her two dachshunds passed away she vowed to honor their memory by fostering animals in need. She has volunteered at the local shelter as well. Every dog she sees gets greeted with a big Hello!

She will love your pets like they are her own.

Missy Guppenberger

Missy grew up in Titusville and has been with G&S Pet Services, LLC, since 2002.  She still lives in Titusville with her family, dog, and many cats.

While attending college he worked as a pet sitter and upon graduation he realized how much he loved it.  Soon after he joined our team and he is a welcome addition.  Robert is the proud parent of a 6 year old Golden Retriever named Posi and a 14 year old kitty named Otto.

He will treat your pets with the same love and care that he treats his own fur babies.

“Thank you will never be enough. We are so thankful for Jackie. This past weekend we were in a bind so I reached out to Jackie – super last minute and a shot in the dark. She responded within what felt like seconds and, as usual, she respond with a willingness to help. I truly wouldn’t expect that from someone so early in the morning. Being hundreds of miles away, it was a huge relief to have someone quick to respond and able to help in a crunch. Jackie is fantastic, super sweet, and always sends pictures (that’s my favorite part). I don’t know what I would do without Jackie and G & S Pet Services. Please pass along my sincere appreciation. Time and time again, Jackie is the best and I am so grateful for her dedication to my four-legged babies”.

Abigail Marsh

Port St John

“I travel for a living and leave my home knowing my animals are in very capable hands. My 2 old dogs (13 & 14) are a lot to keep up with but Susan and Terry do a great job on keeping up with their vitamin regimen and changing needs. My 2 cats are much easier. With my hectic schedule it’s a comfort to know G & S Pet Services are there for us. Every animal is healthy and happy when I get home. I never hear a complaint!”
